Laelia caulescens - watercolour

A sun loving dwarf Brazilian orchid. Usually growing on exposed rocks forming clusters of bulbs and succulent leafs. 

I like adding all the spots and blemishes I can find on the leafs as it adds to authenticity       of the illustration.

As usual I use mostly W&N artist watercolour on Fabriano artistic HP extra white paper.
